Schwinn F18

The F18 “swingarm” was a highly anticipated successor to the Currie throne of electric scooters. It had a dual suspension, and the early models had the brushless DC motor.  Still, it was just a 24 volt scooter and this limited it to under 15 MPH.  I took the brushed DC motor off my Tsunami and upped the voltage to 30 volts and it was quite a bit more spunky. Still, the deck is a bit more confining than the Tsunami, and even with the optional seat it was never as comfortable to me.

Yes, I bought this one off Craigslist as well with dead batteries.  I have it today. The color is a disgusting lipstick red but I still love it.
