If you are in the Oregon high-tech community, it’s quite possible our paths have crossed before. I grew up in Portland, and have worked at Tektronix, Mentor Graphics, DEC and HP to name a few.
As an Applications Engineer, helping customers and sales teams create achieve lasting value gives me a great deal of satisfaction. I believe that software is intended to be used by human beings, not computers. It can and should be comprehensible and productive to the user, and helping people overcome complexity barriers is both a personal and professional win for me.
On a really personal level, I live in Beaverton, Oregon, love my family (please don’t stalk us) and enjoy a variety of technical and non-technical pursuits.
